Privacy Policy

The Peri Files is a perimenopause-focused content, fiction, merchandise, and app-development brand. This policy explains what information the public website and shop collect and how we use it. The private app build is still in development and is not cleared for public health-data use.

Information you provide

Depending on how you use the site, we may receive information such as your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number when needed for delivery, order details, contact-form messages, and any information you voluntarily include in a message or signup form.

Please do not submit sensitive medical information through the shop checkout or general contact form unless it is genuinely necessary to answer your request.

Shop and order information

Our shop uses WooCommerce to manage products, carts, checkout, and order records. We use order information to process purchases, provide customer support, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations.

Payments

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers offered at checkout. Those providers receive the information necessary to authorize and process your payment. The Peri Files does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Printful fulfillment

Most Evidence Locker merchandise is fulfilled by Printful. When you order a Printful-fulfilled item, the information needed to manufacture and deliver the order—such as the product and variation ordered, recipient name, shipping address, contact details needed for delivery, and order-related information—is shared with Printful for fulfillment and shipping.

Cookies and technical information

WooCommerce and other site services may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions such as maintaining a cart, remembering checkout sessions, security, fraud prevention, account functions, and site analytics. We may also receive technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, referral source, and pages visited.

Email and communications

If you opt in to updates, we may send news about The Peri Files, books, merchandise, or app development. Marketing messages can be unsubscribed from using the link provided in the message. Transactional order messages may still be sent when needed to complete or support a purchase.

App and health-related information

The public website currently describes planned tools such as Patch Log, Rage Ledger, Quiet Room, and Provider Brief. The rebuilt app is still being privately tested. We are not representing the public website shop as a secure medical-record system, and the public app status page should not be used to submit private health records.

Before any public app release that stores or processes health-adjacent tracking data, this policy will be reviewed again to describe the actual storage, security, retention, export, deletion, and sharing behavior of that released app.

How we use information

  • Provide order, account, and customer support.
  • Respond to contact requests.
  • Operate and secure the website.
  • Understand site usage and improve the customer experience.
  • Send communications you requested or opted into.
  • Maintain records and comply with legal obligations.

Selling personal information

We do not sell personal information or health-related information to advertisers.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including order support, accounting, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Retention periods may differ by record type.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information, subject to records we must retain for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes. Use our Contact page and put “Privacy request” in the subject line.

Children

The Peri Files is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the shop, app, or other services change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
