FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FAQ
What is The Peri Files?
The Peri Files is a perimenopause-focused app and brand being built to help users track symptoms, reminders, notes, patterns, provider questions, and everyday peri chaos.
Is the app live?
The app is currently in development. You can visit the app preview and join the beta case file at app.perifiles.com.
Is this medical advice?
No. The Peri Files does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace medical advice. It is designed to help you track information for yourself and for conversations with qualified healthcare providers.
Who is this for?
The Peri Files is for adults navigating perimenopause, menopause-adjacent body changes, hormonal weirdness, HRT tracking, cycle chaos, rage, brain fog, hot flashes, sleep disruption, and the deeply annoying feeling that something is happening but it is hard to explain.
Do I have to be on HRT to use it?
No. Patch Log is one feature, but the app universe is bigger than HRT. The Peri Files is also for symptom tracking, body evidence, cycle changes, notes, emotional patterns, provider prep, and more.
Will there be weight tracking?
Yes, but it will be optional, private, and shame-free. The feature is called Body Evidence. It is not a diet-culture tool and does not make weight loss promises.
Will journal entries be private?
That is the plan. Case Notes, Dear Diary, Rage Ledger, and private health logs should be private by default. Sharing features, if added later, should be opt-in and clearly separated from private tracking.
What is Sticker Lab?
Sticker Lab is the merch/meme/evidence-label side of The Peri Files. Think perimenopause stickers, shareable symptom receipts, and branded chaos like “Recorded. Not Ignored.”
What is Cold Case Club?
Cold Case Club is a future no-stress interactive feature with fictional mini mysteries, clue sorting, and case-closed moments. It is playful and fictional, not real-crime exploitation.
What is Quiet Room?
Quiet Room is a future decompression space with calming sounds, micro-resets, and Do Not Perceive Me Mode for when your nervous system has filed a formal complaint.
What is the motto?
Track the symptoms. Bring receipts.
What is the promise?
Recorded. Not ignored.
Disclaimer: The Peri Files helps users track symptoms, reminders, notes, and patterns for conversations with healthcare providers. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace medical advice. If you are experiencing urgent or concerning symptoms, contact a qualified healthcare provider or seek emergency care.
